Job Description
Treasury Supervisor position will be responsible for coordinating the day to day activities of the treasury wire group. This position will supervise 4-6 staff and report to the treasury manager. This a professional accounting position with complex assignments, diversified duties, numerous systems/technical components, and is very deadline oriented. An example of key tasks are the execution of funds transfers via various wire systems, daily balancing, overseeing cash positioning, insuring compliance with all Chase wire policies/controls and interfacing with branches or other customers. This is a very critical function which demands a very high level of responsibility within the supervisor role.
Qualifications
· A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
· Prefer 5-7 years of professional experience preferably in accounting/operations and 3-5 years in a direct supervisory role preferably over a team (5+ employees).
· Demonstrated skills in problem solving/independent decision making, deadline/pressure environments, adhering to policies and procedures, teamwork, and communication (written and verbal) are vital.
· The nature of this position requires the candidate to have the ability to work until 6pm as the Fed closes at that time.
