Job Status: Full Time Work Experience Required: Up to 5 Years Hours/Shifts: Day (First Shift) Education Required: Certification Required: Unspecified Weekends: Not Required Authorized to work in US: Yes  Pay and Benefits Salary Range: Unspecified Benefits:		Gentran EDI Programmer Analyst Robert Half Technology Job ID: 03410-105000 Key Duties & Responsibilities · Support a large EDI project · Support and manage the UNIX Gentran 6.1 system · Act as a member of the technical team to work with trading partners on defining mapping documents and testing · Work closely with the Business Analysts and business users produce EDI transactions from multiple ERP systems such as JD Edwards and Oracle EBS · Develop/modify UNIX scripting to support file transfer between sites. · Track and resolve Incidents/problems/service requests using IT tracking systems. Critical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities · 5+ years of EDI experience and an analyst or similar role · 3+ years of Gentran UNIX 6.x hands on recent experience · Experience working with trading partners · Experience in writing UNIX scripts using ksh, csh or bsh. · Knowledge of XML and XML Schema and DTD. · Knowledge of writing complex SQL queries to debug issues · Experience in using Oracle EBS, JD Edwards is a plus · Experience in Steel industry is a plus · Experience in Retail industry is a plus · Knowledge of ITIL process is a plus No Third Party candidates accepted for this role All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
