Responsibilities of the unit include MI Indemnifications, Investor Claims, Correspondent Recourse Claims, and Vendor Recovery. The Recovery Analyst will be responsible for researching vendor claim opportunities and will partner with other LOB's within Default to establish appropriate hand-off's and controls to ensure indentification of vendor recovery opportunities. This position will also be responsible for monitoring and follow-up of claims and receipt of funds. Continuous review of current processes and recommendations for process improvements to ensure maximum efficiencies and mitigation of risk is also required. Qualifications The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills/qualifications: · College degree preferred · 1-3 years default or mortgage experience · Ability to work independently · Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills · Detail oriented · Computer skils:(MSP; DRI;FORTRACS;RE; Microsoft Office)
