PSC MATERIAL CONTROL SPECIALIST

Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION / PRIMARY GOALS / OBJECTIVES:

• Create all EPAS and PSC AMAPS purchase orders
• Work with suppliers to expedite orders and resolve delivery issues
• Receive commodities in a timely manner
• Maintain proper raw material inventory levels in the PSC's Repair and Manufacturing areas
• Process part sales orders for external customers
• Provide customer service to external and internal customers
• Cycle count PSC commodities to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Comply with all cGMP's and SOP's
• Adhere to all Corporate and Division purchasing policies

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
• Create all EPAS and PSC AMAPS purchase orders
• Work with suppliers to expedite orders and resolve delivery issues
• Maintain proper raw material inventory levels in the PSC's Repair and Manufacturing areas

ACCOUNTABILITY/SCOPE/BUDGET:

Failure to effectively perform in this position could result in production shutdowns, out of stock situations, Corporate, ISO, and FDA observations/violations, and lost opportunities to manufacture and repair products due to lack of raw materials.

Skills/Experience Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

Background:
Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a consistent basis
• Forklift and portable handtruck certification required
• Knowledgeable of AMAPS, EPAS, and Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to function in a high stress, continually-changing environment
• Strong attention to detail skills
