As a Laboratory Technician A, you will be responsible for performing quality control testing and disposition on in-process and finished products, instrument maintenance and calibration, data entry, and basic laboratory maintenance and housekeeping duties during a modified first shift position 7:30a-4:30p or 10:30a-7:00p with infrequent partial Saturday work. This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.
Qualifications:
• 2 years college science curriculum but 4 year college science degree (chemistry, biology, physics, etc.) preferred
• 2 years experience in quality control of analytical lab work experience. Chemistry background preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently or in a team environment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills important
• Must be able to make unpopular decisions about product disposition
• High sense of ethics a must.
• Must be committed to working safely.
