Requisition ID 6890 Description POSITION SUMMARY: Working in an assigned sales territory, the Industrial Technical Service Rep will support assigned Industrial Account Manager(s) to drive industrial and hazardous waste sales revenue growth. Meet or exceed individual sales goals for industrial, C&D, third party transfer, and hazardous waste business lines. Effectively utilize, coordinate and cultivate relationships with internal and external customers. Interact and work cohesively with the other industrial sales team members.
PRINCIPAL/ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Achieve or exceed individual territory revenue goals. · Develop customized proposals, prepare correspondence, and develop customized invoices. · Set up new accounts and projects accurately and completely, including contracting, establishment of credit, pricing set up in FASTLANE and MAS systems. · Drive new opportunities and retain existing business through the use of written correspondences, collateral materials, email, and phone calls. · Develop economic and practical solutions for customers using a competitive pricing matrix. · Identify and handle new waste stream opportunities with existing customers. · Provide leads to account managers using Internet and other news services. · Assist sales staff with receivables and collections issues. · Maintain existing account relationships through an active account retention program including the administration of profile re-certifications, regulatory updates and new service offerings. · Actively assist customers in developing transportation and disposal options for the management of industrial and hazardous wastes. · Assist customers with testing parameters and proper completion of profiles, manifests and land ban forms. · Handle inbound customer calls and referrals from sales representatives. · Provide complete and accurate pre-screening of profiles and coordinate discrepancy resolution with technical staff. · Conduct effective probing of inbound customer calls to identify the proper methodology to "close" the customer. · Expedite the processing of profiles, contracts and credit requests, schedule pick-ups, resolve billing inquiries and resolve customer satisfaction issues. · Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS: · Associate's Degree or equivalent industry work experience required. · 1 year of experience as a Sales Coordinator or equivalent administrative and computer experience. · Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows.
