Healthcare company is seeking a temporary Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist. Duties and responsibilities include:
• Settling past due accounts
• Follow up with insurance payers and tracking activity through reports.
• Assisting self pay patients
• Daily inspection of medical claims and Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• Posting payments from electronic billing software. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and professional communication. A comprehensive knowledge of medical billing, medical insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Experience with Nextgen software is preferred.
