The School Solutions Group, a division of McGraw-Hill Education, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Technology Editor for Social Studies to work on a contract basis in our Columbus, OH office.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the planning, production, and overall coordination of the technology products.
· Track and log work flows at all stages, maintaining budgets, updating weekly technology status reports, and meeting all intermediate and final schedules.
· Test technology products to ensure continuous quality improvements.
· Managing vendors, analyzing competition, and other projects as assigned.

Required:
· Bachelor's degree.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
· Strong computer skills are a requirement including knowledge of PC and MAC platforms.
· Must demonstrate strong written and verbal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Must be a team player.
· Must be organized and detail and deadline oriented.
· A good working knowledge of a variety of computer applications is required.
· Strong Internet skills including the ability to research on the web and knowledge of web site structure.
Desired:
· Previous experience producing educational software products.
· Familiarity with production of textbooks and ancillary materials.
